Trying Elixinol’s Cinnamint CBD Oil

The brand recommends to dose 0.25 of a dropperfull, which contains about 12.5mg of CBD. Each drop contains 2.5mg of CBD, thus each dropperfull has 50mg of CBD. I tried the 12.5mg dose to start, and was surprised at just how effective it was!

The oil is a golden yellow colour, with a very mild scent. To be honest, the flavour was pretty strong, but not in a cinnamon spice kind of way. The cinnamon and peppermint were very subtle and offered a slight warming and cooling effect on my throat which was lovely. However, the flavour profile was notably bitter. Even for my pallet (I love floral, sour, and earthy notes), this was a little too intense.

Thankfully with a glass of water after dosing the bitterness went away quickly. It wasn’t the most pleasant holding this tincture under my tongue for a minute, but in the end it was entirely worth it.

The effects came on around 20-30 minutes after dosing. It was uplifting, euphoric, and physically soothing. I felt my joint pain melt away, and was noticeably more motivated to finish the rest of my tasks for the day.

When trying this tincture, I highly recommend doing a double dose of this product. This helps boost bioavailability and enhance the effects for a longer duration. To do this, simply dose a quarter dropper once. Wait for 30 minutes and dose again once you feel the effects coming on.

Although the flavour of this product kind of shocked me, I was pleasantly surprised by how comforted this product made me feel. If you can manage the bitterness up front, this tincture offers sweet relief.
