In order for CBD to dissolve into water, Hydrovape adds an extra ingredient. Emulsifying agents (both natural or synthetic) can be mixed vigorously into CBD extract, binding to the molecules and stabilizing them into aqueous compounds via nano-emulsion. Trying the Hydrovape 5% Girl Scout Cookies Water Soluble CBD

When testing out water soluble CBD oils, I typically like to try it in plain water first, and then in a mixed beverage. I found the terpene profile to be an exciting new twist, to inspire recipes where Girl Scout Cookies (GSC) terpenes would pair well. This earthy, pungent strain could pair well with herbal teas like peppermint, or even a classic lemonade spritz. 

First, I mixed two drops of this tincture into a glass of water (about 5mg CBD total). I noticed that the tincture had separated a bit in travel, and needed some rigorous shaking for about 1-2 minutes, before I could dose my water. 

Even after mixing I did notice a few small pieces of white debris in my cup, showing that the emulsification process may not have encapsulated all of the hemp or terpene extracts. However, the flavour and effects were something special, and honestly made up for this formulation flaw. 

The scent was lovely, rich with notes of terpinolene, limonene, beta-caryophyllene, and a hint of myrcene for a well-rounded earthy, piney, authentic GSC taste. When I tasted the water, I was met with a similar and ultra-satisfying flavour! It was smooth, subtle, and so fresh. I would compare it to adding fresh mint to your water, but swap the mint for a fresh cannabis bud. 

The effects came on relatively quickly, around 15-20 minutes after drinking the whole glass. It was uplifting and soothing. The effects were mild due to my low-dose size, but I found this to be a nice and gentle experience for a mid day pick-me-up. 

Next, I felt inspired to get a little creative with my recipe. I added it to a mango sparkling water, as I thought the myrcene would blend well. This mix was so refreshing! I would love to try mixing this tincture into a blended smoothie in the future, as I feel this would minimize the debris in the water, and bring out some incredibly earthy and hoppy notes to turn a classic fruity drink into something more sophisticated.

What I loved about this flavoured water soluble CBD

• Signature Strain Flavour: This is such a novel CBD option, as it provides the flavour experience and subtle effects of a cannabis strain without the psychedelic effects. If you love the taste and benefits of weed, this is a wonderful alternative! 
• Endless Creativity and Combinations: With such a unique flavour experience, I found this product very inspiring when coming up with mocktails and elevated beverages. It’s such a treat to have in your kitchen! 

Things to be aware of before trying Hydrovape’s water soluble CBD products

• Shake Well: Due to the formulation of this CBD oil, you may need to shake it for about 1-2 minutes before dosing each time. It is possible you may still find debris after this. If that’s something you’re not keen on, I highly recommend trying their non-flavoured water soluble CBD instead. 
• Broadspectrum Considerations: Due to the nature of the CBD extract in this product it may contain up to 0.2% THC in each bottle. Though, this product will never make you feel the psychoactive effects of cannabis.
